Classical Piano — Vista, California
Piano lessons for ages 6 and up, rooted in classical technique, music reading & theory, and improvisation foundations — helping every student discover the joy of making music.
Music is a gift you get to keep for life.
01
Hi, I'm Bethany — I'm so glad you're here!
My piano story began at age 5, when my two best friends signed up for lessons. They eventually stopped, but I kept going — and I'm so glad I did!
I went on to train classically, and since 2017 I've had the joy of teaching well over 100 students. Every student builds a strong foundation in technique and confident music reading.
But my favorite part? Teaching improvisation and chord theory, and watching students light up when they realize they can create music of their own.
When I'm not teaching, you may find me at Calvary Vista, where I play keys on the worship team and my husband, Philip, serves as the Junior High pastor. Vista is home for us, and I reopened my studio here in 2026 — I'd love to meet your family!
I'm excited to introduce you to a love of music, and hold your hand as we take this journey one step at a time!

Enrollment
A one-time $50 enrollment fee per student is due at registration to reserve your lesson time.
Location
Lessons are available in-studio or in your home. In-home lessons are offered on Fridays only and include a $20/month travel fee.
Each family reserves a day of the week and a time. That spot is yours all year — the same lesson time, every week.
Tuition is the same each month — including shorter months like December and months with a fifth week.
The studio follows the school calendar, so there are no lessons on school holidays. In months with a fifth week, there are no lessons that fifth week.
If I need to cancel a lesson, it will always be made up. Make-ups for lessons a student misses may be offered when time allows, but aren't guaranteed.
